VM-Series firewalls offer the same capabilities as Palo Alto Networks hardware next-generation firewalls in a virtual machine (VM) form factor, making them ideal for cloud environments. The PMvNA validates that an individual can deploy and configure a VM-Series firewall to inspect and control inbound and outbound traffic in public cloud environments, and that they can define and enforce segmentation and threat prevention policies between trust zones in virtualized data centers and branches.
